We have nothing but thanks for the great job our realtors Hazel Perera and Armen Sarkissian did in helping us prepare our house and ultimately finding 3 buyers to make offers. This happened after the Eaton fire when the entire housing market was depressed in our area. They provided workers, painters, movers, and staging to increase the attractiveness of the property. We just sat back and watched them work. The ultimate price was more than fair and came well within the timing we needed for moving to our new home. Armen & Hazel are experts in their field. They know Pasadena intimately, using that knowledge to screen properties for my wife and I, allowing us to pass on properties they knew wouldn't 't fit our needs, or get us into properties they knew were "hot" well before the first open house. The two of them are a great team; knowledgable and compassionate. At one point they even talked us out of making an offer knowing the house wasn't the right fit for us even when we couldn't recognize it (they were so right!). Armen V. Sarkissian and his crew is AWESOME!!! We have now used their group 3 times to handle the sales and purchases of homes. We recommended them to our family members and they were extremely elated also. We wont use or recommend anyone else. And then there was Hazel Perera, (SARKISSIAN + PERERA GROUP), who helped us sell our home in Pasadena, CA. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate her a 10! She negotiated and hired top quality contractors to get the house ready. Many light fixtures were dated. She shopped for needed replacements, had excellent taste and was mindful of the cost. She solicited our approval for all purchases. She negotiated a great final sales price. And She kept meticulous track of all expenses to assist us with capital gains taxes. The timing was terrible. We were moving into a retirement community and the delays there put us right into the Christmas and New Years holidays for selling our house. But Hazel knew her neighborhoods. She reassured us buyers were circling because of the neighborhoods unusual features. Not to worry about potential buyers being too busy with the holidays. The house sold quickly. My wife and I are new to the LA area and after a year of renting were looking to purchase our first ever home. We were introduced to Armen at a social event and immediately recognized the mix of patience and knowledge that we came to rely so heavily on over the next few months. Working with Armen is like working with a great friend who just happens to know infinitely more about a given subject than you do: he will steer you clear of silly or rash decisions when you get impatient with the process; he'll give honest and robust advice when he sees potential issues with a home you otherwise like (and he is deeply knowledgeable about the structural/age related issues that afflict LA homes); he will advise you when a given home is/is not the right home to put all your chips on from an investment POV.These are all obvious points of differentiation with most realtors but the biggest reason to work with Armen is that he does all of these things AND is super super nice, fun, patient and enjoyable to be around at all times. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to my nearest and dearest.

Buying a home is an incredibly daunting task. Armen is the kind of agent that makes the entire process unbelievably manageable, and even fun. When my wife and I decided it was time to purchase a home, we reached out to Armen and provided him with the basic parameters: price, size, neighborhood, etc. Within 24 hours, Armen reached out with ~15 options that matched our criteria. As soon as our schedules permitted, we scheduled time to visit multiple homes in one outing. Visiting homes with Armen was delightful. He was incredibly honest about what he viewed as 'pros' and 'cons;' he was knowledgeable about factors to consider, like traffic conditions; and he provided excellent home decor recommendations. But, most important of all, he genuinely placed our interests before his throughout the process -- if he found issues, or felt that a home did not align with our top priorities, he would (politely) 'veto' such homes. In other words, and as trite as this may sound, Armen was matching us to the right home, he wasn't simply trying to sell us a home. Additionally, Armen made himself available for every single question we had about the ENTIRE process. If we had a question about a specific line of text in one of the hundreds of documents involved in purchasing a home, Armen quickly and kindly provided an answer. When we had questions about subjects related to our home loan, Armen provided an answer. When we had to secure insurance for our new home, Armen allowed me to conference him into the call with the insurance agent to make sure that we were getting the best deal and understood everything the agent through our way. Yes, you read that correctly -- I was already on the phone with an insurance agent, confused, so I texted Armen and he offered to JOIN THE CALL. That's how service oriented Armen is. I can probably write five, or six, more paragraphs with specific examples regarding how amazing Armen is, but it really isn't necessary. If the above hasn't at the very least encouraged you to give Armen an exploratory call, I doubt more of my gushing words will do the trick. But, just know that by not calling Armen, you may be missing out on an incredibly rewarding experience.
