Hands down, Bernice is the best in the business! I found her through Zillow when I decided to relocate to the Costa Mesa area from Northern California, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. As a forever renter and a first-time homebuyer, I was anxious about the whole process, but Bernice took the time to explain everything to me and referred me to a fantastic mortgage broker. Buying during a time of high interest rates and low inventory was challenging, but Bernice's dedication truly shone through. After a few showings, I fell in love with a specific community of beautiful detached townhomes with rooftops and an ocean view. Unfortunately, none were for sale, and I was less than 60 days away from my move date. But Bernice didn't back down. She went above and beyond, knocking on doors and handing out flyers. Thanks to her hard work, she found a homeowner willing to sell off-market. She even helped them find a new home further south, making the deal happen right on time. Bernice literally did the impossible, securing the house I wanted in the exact location and timeframe I needed. Buying a home is not easy, especially for a first-timer, but Bernice was with me every step of the way. By the end of the process, I not only had a new home but also a new friend in Bernice. Bernice is the most strategic and professional realtor I've ever worked in the past. I interviewed 5 other local well-known realtors specialized in the Newport Beach / Costa Mesa area, but she excelled in every categories. She suggested the best timing to list instead of rushing. She also helped me to set the market-sensitive listing price based on comps, market trends and analytics. It was not the highest listing price compared to other realtors suggested, but it was an excellent call. As a result, she created more traffic than I expected for open house. I ended up choosing the buyer she brought, and negotiated to the reasonable price in very short period of time. Again, her advice was based on data, not emotions. She didn't always tell me what I wanted to hear, but she always gave me great advices for making right decisions. All transactions were extremely smooth. I highly recommend Bernice.

I purchased a home in Costa Mesa in 2018 with Bernice as my agent. Her service was excellent. We found the house I wanted within a week. I then listed the house with Bernice for a lease. Within a few weeks she brought me the perfect tenants. Two years later in 2020 I wanted to list the house for sale. I was concerned because I had lease with tenants and COVID 19 was at its peak. Bernice assured me she could sell the house contingent of the lease and during COVID. I listed the home with her and after a few offers she proposed to me the offer I was looking for. Not only was the offer what I wanted she saved me another 2.5% commission by bringing the purchase clients herself. Absolutely amazing experience with every service she provided me. I was shock that she sold my house, with tenants and during COVID. I just closed escrow the beginning of Feb 2012 and I will be using her as my agent for my next purchase. I don't know how to explain the depth of gratitude I have for Bernice. Even though I was not in California where my house was for sale, she treated me as though I was the most important person in the world. I had previously heard great things about Bernice from other people, so when it the time came for me to sell my house, I chose her, She exceeded my expectations. From the moment she walked in, I could tell she had the keen eye on what needed to be moved, replaced, etc, in order to make my home the most appealing. She also knew the exact right place to list it at. My house had plenty of traffic during it open houses as well as its private showings. It sold very quickly, I got quite close to the asking price. Why we plan to use Bernice Devries on our future real estate deals? The answer is that we were buyers and we planned to go into our purchase without an agent; but, we were so favorably impressed with Bernice's professionalism, and systematic approach, that we had her represent us. That was the best decision that we made. We were selling our prior home and that deal (with other agents) was quickly going south. But then, Bernice made the extra effort to call both our agent, and the buyer's agent, to put that deal back on the right track to a quick closing. I previously used Bernice as my agent when I bought my house five years ago, and she did such a stellar job back then that I decided to use her again, but this time to sell my house. Bernice is extremely knowledgable and has a solution or answer to everything. I was in the process of getting married in Maui during this time, so I met with Bernice a couple of weeks before the wedding and told her that ideally I'd like my house sold by the time I returned from my wedding (wishful thinking on my part!). Four days before my wedding Bernice listed my house. One day before my wedding Bernice calls me to tell me I've already received a full offer on my house. Two days after my wedding I sign the offer.
