The following is going to be a glowing review of an excellent broker. I interviewed at least five brokers before choosing to work with Brian Cane. Here are some reasons he won out over the others, and why I was so happy with his service: My sister and I needed to sell our mothers unique house in Pacific Beach, and neither of us lived in town - we needed someone we could trust to get the best price and take care of all the details on the ground. To be clear: we needed a lot of help. Brians communication was clear and concise. He was an expert in working with estate sales. Brian seemed to intuit all of our questions with a combination of experience and compassion for our situation. We met at the house and Brian gave his opinions on how to get the house ready for sale. we did not agree on 100% of his ideas and we got no push back from him. The prices other brokers gave us varied wildly. There was a $500,000 difference between the highest and lowest price we were quoted. Brian used tons of data, with the understanding that this was a difficult house to find comps for. We settled on a price that seemed to be just right, using the copious information Brian provided. He told us the market time for this kind of house was usually around four weeks. I believe we received our first offer in the middle of the third week. Brian was able to use the two offers we received and strategically brought the price to where we were comfortable. His advice was clearly coming from a place of knowledge, but also from respect for our needs (which were many). He orchestrated a meeting with a staging company, set up a paint/handyman crew to get the house ready for market, and always seemed to have a sense of best practices for every situation. Our buyers were very particular, and my sister and I could tell we were being shielded from any unhelpful nonsense, which made our experience so much easier. He somehow always seemed to have time to talk with us about our myriad issues. I have no idea how many other deals he had going at the same time, but he was always able to respond with a text when we needed an answer. Brians team was just as professional and personal. Matty worked on the listing while Raechel was the closing broker. Both answered so many questions with courtesy and professionalism. They also hooked us up with a shipping company to pack and send the heirlooms wed left in the house. The fact that the shipping company were known by our brokers put our minds at ease while the last of our precious pieces of our mothers life were being taken from our childhood home while we were thousands of miles away. So many potential pitfalls - so deftly and confidently averted. The bottom line is that Brian Cane and his team marketed our mothers house, priced it wisely, managed a somewhat difficult deal and never took their eyes off the ball. We were his main priority throughout this long and difficult process. No decision was made to ease the transaction for his team. Many cliches could describe Brians service: he was cool under fire, respectful, smart, tenacious, and an excellent negotiator. I would hire him again without a second thought. I cant imagine a better broker to sell your house.

When my Father passed away last year I was tasked with handling his estate which included selling his home of 60 years in Bay Park. After interviewing several real estate agents, I selected Brian Cane and his team because of his professional presentation to me and his respect for my personal situation. Selling one's family home comes with much emotion and Brian consistently showed understanding and patience and guided me through the process of listing a house that was under control of the probate court. I can't say enough about Brian Cane and his fabulous team. It was my first time selling a home, and I was nervous about entering into a world were the sums are large, and the details complex. Brian picked up on that, and helped lay out the whole process - checking for understanding and comfort at each step. Brian Cain, is the best Real Estate Broker in San Diego Period. Over the last 7 years I have both bought and sold homes. We met when I was buying some short sale homes and I consider him and his team experts in getting these types of deals done. We've gone on to to buy and sell home all over San Diego. At no time did I think that he wasn't familiar with the area to get the most out of the property I was selling. I have gone on to do Real Estate "full time" and give up my job.
