I talked him into just meeting with a few realtors and after Carol and George left we put it on the market. We lost money and jewelry during one of his showings where he brought several extra contractors with. He didnt do anything about this, and simply ignored it. Carole is the Martha Stewart of real estate in Southern California. As founder of the Geronsin Real Estate Group, she has sold thousands of homes in her long career and her expertise shows. We interviewed realtors and chose her because of her knowledge of our community, expertise during the crazy Covid market, and her creative ways to sell in the constant changing world of real estate. She handled our house with confidence, ease, excitement and urgency which gave us the feeling that she was handling our house as if it was her own. When our house listed, we had 24 people in 4 days come through and sold it with multiple offers on the 5th day. Her support team is large and very competent and we used her ample supply of personal resources to get the house ready quickly such as painters, handyman, termite, etc. as well as packers for moving day. She is the complete package! We even went on a week-long vacation during escrow and had no worries while we were away because she was taking care of everything. Steve Hamel is an individual of the highest integrity and ability. We bought our house as a listing from Steve in 2010 and kept in touch with him over the years. He helped us, for no gain of his own, over the years with general real estate questions. So, when we decided to sell our home in March 2019 it made sense we would use Steve's services. Mid November my mother moved to an assisted living facility in Connecticut. We had to sell her house in La Habra to cover living expenses. Fortunately we found the Geronsins, Carole and Genelle. We dont live near La Habra so we needed a realtor who could do it all; trash & junk removal, painting, clean-up and marketing. The strategy was to price the house reasonably and then let the market forces work. We had a dozen offers after just the one and only open house! The house sold a week after it went on the market in January for $60,000 over the asking price. The whole process was over by mid-February and couldnt have gone any smoother! It was seamless!
