In the past couple of brokers tried to sell my house fast at any cost so they could get their commission. Carolin is just the opposite and she took her time to walk us through the process to get the best and the safest deal not necessarily the highest and sometimes she called us late at night to keep us up to date of the progress and because of her savviness we got the best deal beyond our wildest imagination. Carolin helped us purchase a Van Nuys townhome, our first home, in this wild west that is the LA real estate market. At each junction milestone in all our lives, be it positive or negative, we all only hope to be surrounded by the right people to either ease or make the experience. We are glad to say that she is one of those people. From the onset, Carolin was acute, dedicated, very communicative, eyes on the ball, feet on the ground, a complete professional. We worked with her for almost 2 months going through several offers until we landed our third and best one. And on the day she handed us the keys, we were surprised to recount that the two months that went by felt like nothing, because she became an honorary part of our little family. When little issues that had the potential to become big issues rose up during negotiations and escrow, she proved to be a great champion and didn't let any detail go the wayside or concede anything that would be beneficial to us. Through the long shopping and escrow processes, Carolin walked us through every step, every document and was careful to explain each in ways we could understand as this was all new. She answered a mountain of questions and addressed every concern in a timely manner, communicating through frequent phone calls, texts and emails. She went above and beyond, providing us well-used contacts with mortgage providers, contractors, inspectors e.t.c that ensured that long after our professional transaction was done, our home would be well taken care of. And that is just her professionalism. She is also a maverick of a human being; warm, caring, respectful, great charm, better soul. You will find no one better to work with than she and we are forever grateful we got the chance to.

We had a great experience with Carolin, both as our buyer's agent for a house in Studio City, and then as a seller's agent for our house in Burbank. As our buyer's agent, she was always very accessible, willing to meet whenever we needed her, and strongly pushed our case to the seller - ensuring we got the best deal possible and were never taken advantage of. As our seller's agent, she did a great job promoting the property and pushing buyers to increase their bids - while at the same time listening and being amenable to our suggestions. Buying and selling houses are such huge transactions that you really want someone who will really fight for you, and Carolin isn't afraid to be that person. From the moment, my husband and I met Carolin she was our guardian realtor angel. My husband and I were a young couple that had absolutely no experience in the home buying process. We were browsing Zillow one Saturday morning and we called Markarian Realty, Vic the owner suggested that we come down later that afternoon. Once we arrived, Vic had us sign a good faith contract that stated we would establish a buyer-realtor relationship. Shortly, thereafter, Carolin walked in and was immediately welcoming and wanted to understand our needs. During the meeting, Vic showed us a presentation that explained how Markarian Realty was different from other real-estate companies. I knew right away that we were in the best of hands, which is a relief because buying a home is a life-changing experience. I heard stories about how people got variables rates and lost their homes, it was all very daunting. Carolin helped us to get pre-qualified, not an easy task considering my husband is a self-employed 1099 and my credit was in the low 600s. Throughout this process, Carolin was only a phone call away to answer minute questions. She also helped us to understand unfamiliar terms like "community property" on our loan documents. Fast forward a couple of weeks later and we were finally in escrow with a beautiful home. Then life happened. Within a three-week period I lost my job, I had a miscarriage, and my beautiful home fell out of escrow. I believed there was no way we could qualify for a home; I scrambled to find a job. Thankfully we were able to restructure the loan solely under my husband's name. Carolin was a friend, a parent, a teacher, and a financial advisor. I could not thank her enough for her encouragement through those trying times. She encouraged us to keep looking and reminded us of the investment we were embarking upon. We were ready to put in our third bid. Carolin is tough, like mafia tough, she gave our seller 48-hours to respond to our bid. This strategy was absolutely critical for the current competitive landscape. Had Carolin not been so knowledgeable and experienced we would not have gotten our Sunland-Tujunga home. We will be forever grateful for her.
