Where do I even begin?! My wife and I were looking for our first home when we were introduced to Chris by one of his partners Raul Ramirez(hes just as awesome and handles the lending). Chris has so extensive knowledge and was so helpful throughout the process. We saw a few homes with him and never felt pushed or pressured, he works at your pace and budget. Great communication and went beyond the extra mile for us. So happy we finally got our home, but so sad the process with him as our agent is over. My husband and I were first time home buyers. Without any knowledge and some fear in what we we getting ourselves into, we couldnt of found a better person to help us find our dream home. Recently in December 2020, Chris helped my fiance and me close on our first home. Our first impression of Chris was that he was professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. Overall, we felt very comfortable working with him from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable about the area thus guiding us on what areas to look at and which to avoid. Every time we met to see homes he educated us on many topics whether it was about the area, the process, what to look for, etc. In a seller's market, he helped us stay competitive with our offers until the right home found us. His communication with us in-person and through text and email was stellar. He answered all our questions and responded to them as quickly as he possibly could. Purchasing a home is not a smooth sailing process as there are many people involved in the process, but Chris helped us navigate all the small obstacles that did come our way and overall we felt that our experience was as smooth as it could possibly get. Chris also maintained a great relationship with the listing agent and helped us reach a great agreement with the sellers after the home did not appraise for the offer value. In short, if you are looking for a real estate agent I highly recommend selecting to work with Chris. When you work with Chris you can expect to learn and enjoy what can be a stressful process. Chris was the best real estate agent we could have worked with especially as first-time homebuyers. We started looking at places in Oakland pre-COVID. We met Chris and explained our situation and goals, and we were met with a realtor who really took the time to get to know us. Chris teed up some great options, but they weren't exactly for us. Chris kept on working, as responsive as ever.Then COVID hit, and we were out of the market. We still kept on touch with Chris, and he continued to share options, which based on our feedback allowed him to continue to refine our search.Finally, we found a place. More than 6 months after we first met Chris. And we couldn't have done it without him.This was our first time buying a place and Chris handled everything so well. Chris was a great listener and really heard our desires and constraints when searching for our home. We had a bit of a unique situation (co-housing purchase) and he was great at thinking outside the box with us and thought partnering about different possibilities. He is super knowledgeable about realty and the process but also clear about his scope of practice when we asked things that were outside of it. Chris is a great communicator and answered lots and lots of questions (sometimes the same ones over and over!!). I would highly recommend working with Chris and I know we will be calling him if we ever choose to sell!

Chris is nothing but passionate about what he does. He breathes, eats, and lives Real Estate. My family and I turned to Chris for help in selling our home. What we appreciated the most is the constant update and insight of what is happening throughout the whole transaction. In comparison of working with other agents in the past, we can say that Chris is phenomenal! He really makes sure everything is well explained in simple "non real estate" language, and really spends time to make sure all terms of any transaction benefits his client. He easily adapts to taking action or following a plan. From our experience, I can see him adapting to all kinds of different clients ( from ones who are beginners and just need a strong opinion of what to do, to someone who has been investing in properties for years and need him to follow a structured plan that his client prefers of what needs to be done).Seems like Chris is always up to date with information on potential future area growth and housing market trends. I very much enjoyed working with Chris from NextHome. I was toying with the idea of selling it on my own and my husband was pretty adamant that we not use a realtor. Chris listened to my concerns, answered ALL of my questions and helped my husband feel at ease with the process. He guided us through the entire process, set up the needed inspections, made suggestions on how to stage my home for a quick sale including the right colors to paint the interior and the landscaping. Chris is an honest to goodness nice person, professional every time we interacted, he represented us extremely well. Chris and the NextHome team were easy to work with, very responsive, accommodating with scheduling, and provide quality service and knowledge throughout the process. Here is how our deal went down: We found a property that had been on the market for 30 days, and wanted to act fast. Chris was headed for his birthday weekend in Vegas, and brought his partner Mike in, who was a pro. This team drove all inspections and negotiating, and got in below listing and closed in 14 days. We used Chris to both but our house and then sell it when we moved out of state. In both cases, he was knowledgeable, courteous, and available. We really appreciate the fact that he was able to help in selling our house while we were living out of state. He was there to answer any questions we had and they were numerous! It's as if this man never stops working... It did not matter what day or time it was, where he was, what he was doing, or what we were asking from him. Chris was constantly available. This truly is his passion--it shows through his work ethic, his command of the real estate market, and his relentless desire to meet the needs of his clients. We initially got set up with Chris when we wanted to see a house in Pleasant Hill. We told him we were just looking to see where the market was at and were not committed on buying anything until the following year. Still, he followed up with us after that showing, and we are so glad we kept in touch!Chris helped us through the process of our first purchased home. From helping negotiate the purchase price, to convincing the sellers to give us THOUSANDS of dollars in credit for repairs that needed to be done, to setting up all the necessary inspections, to making the financing process as smooth as can be (there were TONS of hiccups and delays with the loan that he guided us through), Chris did everything in his power to make our lives easier. Chris did an outstanding job helping us with a home purchase in the Bay Area. We were relocating to the area from Houston because of my work and only had one week to house hunt and possibly put an offer on a home. Chris made a list of available houses meeting our strict needs/desires and chauffeured us around that week. Homes come and go on the market here very quickly and Chris was great about reaching out to listing agents to get additional details of home listings and finding new listings when others came off the market. He clearly knows the market, knows the expectations of home buyers and sellers, and readily gave meaningful advice that helped in our search. Chris even took video of home walk-throughs and later posted them online so I could review them later if needed. That helped tremendously! It only took a couple of days for us to find a home and put in an offer, but Chris willingness to do whatever it took to find us a home was obvious. After our offer was accepted Chris was very forthcoming with information during the underwriting and closing process. There were no surprises when it came to Chris. My only hassles were dealing with my own finance company! However, he helped us work through it. Id highly recommend Chris to any of my friends or coworkers moving in/to the area.
