Courtney and her associate Silke came in and blew us away with their presentation. Their combination of local knowledge, prep work, and example marketing materials to highlight the efforts they undertake to support their clients blew everyone else out of the water. We had an incredible experience with ACME Realty. We were driving around LA and saw their sign in front of a house, and decided to call on a whim. What a fortunate discovery! Courtney and Silke patiently ran us through the home buying process, walked us through how to make a competitive offer, and really helped us prepare for first time home ownership. We are so glad we went with ACME, they were great advocates to have on our side for navigating LAs tricky buyers market. Our experience with ACME was fantastic. We started to look at houses just as the market got extremely aggressive and hot. There were ups and downs, and every step of the way Courtney had our backs. When we went into escrow on a house that turned out to have major internal issues, Courtney didnt pressure us to go through with the purchase aEUR" as soon as we told her we werent feeling good about it anymore, she got us right out of it. She never pressured us to buy for the sake of buying. She always listened and worked to find the home that would truly work for us. Also, I would be remiss not to mention Brooke, one of Courtneys associates, who visited many houses with us; Brooke was always honest and kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable. If she didnt like the way something looked in a house, she told us. When things looked incredible, she told us that too. We never felt like our own realtors were trying to sell us on anything. They were there to help us find what we wanted, and once we did, they made sure the deal went through. We ended up purchasing a California Bungalow in Los Feliz aEUR" an area, by the way, we thought was out of our price range, but Courtney made it happen. We couldnt recommend ACME more highly.

We have used ACME realty with Courtney as our real estate agent for both the buy and sell process. Shes been our realtor from our first house we ever bought and will probably be our lifelong realtor. She is diligent, direct, and will negotiate the crap out of a deal. We got an amazing price on our current home because she was able to broker the deal, during the peak of the pandemic none the less. She was a pleasure to work with and had a smart, thoughtful answer for the roughly one million questions we had as first time home buyers. She took the time to figure out what we were looking for, kind of before we even knew what we actually wanted in a home. Courtney is the BEST. Ive worked with her through multiple transactions, starting with my first home buying experience in LA. Other agents told me to focus on a condo, because of my budget, but Courtney persisted in finding what I wanted. Finding the right property and getting me in for viewing before competition had a chance was just the beginning. Her ability to connect and work with the other realtor in a deal is impressive. Shes able to get things DONE. Shes no less amazing on the selling side, too. While many agents would jump at the first round of offers after one open house, Courtney gauged the interest level and decided to have a second week on the market, ultimately sweeping in more offers and landing me a higher than expected with easy closing terms. Our most recent purchase fell through. In spite of her hard work and negotiation and creative problem solving, through disclosures the home had an aspect that was a dealbreaker for me. It was extremely unfortunate. Other than Courtney, Ive also worked with other realtors and brokers outside of CA. She has set the bar so high, I find myself consistently disappointed by comparison. Courtney is sharp and savvy and loyal. She is generous with her time and resources. She is upfront and she leads an excellent team. She has integrity (who knew that was something in real estate!) and I always know if she says something is taken care of, she is on it. Whatever field shes in, I'm sure shed excel in. If youre looking to buy or sell a home, youre lucky she chose to be in real estate. I cant say enough good things about Courtney.

I don't even know where to begin since I have so many great things to say about Courtney. We met a little over 5 years ago when I inquired about a property. I liked her the minute I met her. She's smart, direct, professional, personable, confident, focused and enjoyable to be around. With her help I have bought 2 homes (a Craftsman cottage in Eagle Rock and a hipster cottage in Highland Park), and am possibly purchasing a 3rd in Hyde Park. Courtney is extremely knowledgeable about the housing market, trends, has a keen sense of awareness and really cares about her clients. She clearly articulates what the process is, will answer any questions you may have, and always responds in a timely manner. I recently sold my property in Highland Park while being out of state. I never worried about anything and completely trusted Courtney to handle it. It was the smoothest transaction I've ever been through. If a problem came up, she said she would take care of it, and I trusted her to do so and to do it the correct way. I never had to micro-manage since she is always on top of things and then some. If you're thrown a curve ball, she keeps you positive and finds a way to make it work. Courtney also has amazing negotiation skills and if anyone can work their magic, she can. Personally I feel she's one of the top Real Estate agents in the business and I highly recommend her.

I would not hesitate to recommend Courtney Poulos for selling your house! She and her assistant at Acme Real Estate did an excellent job from start to finish in placing my house on the market in Los Angeles. She assessed my house at exactly the correct price, and brought in buyers even before we had the house online.She was helpful every step of the way, making suggestions on how to show the house. Things moved quickly once we had photos online, and began having Open Houses. We immediately received 4-5 bids, and in just a month the house was sold!!

courtney was referred to me by a coworker after i shared with her my frustrations and feelings of hopelessness in the intense l.a. real estate market. the agent i was working with, prior to meeting courtney, kept telling me i wouldnt be competitive for house purchasing, so kept sending me condo listings. i felt unheard. i ended up losing out on a bid, bc they didnt prioritize me, letting me view the home by myself, then barely guiding me in making an offer. that house ended up selling for $15k less than what i would have been willing and able to pay. i took my coworkers referral and contacted courtney. we met and she listened. even though my search criteria would be challenging, given the small budget i had to work with, she listened and understood my goal. it didnt make her work less hard or pay less attention. she never put me on the back burner for her bigger budget clients. since then, we have successfully closed 4 transactions together! i trust courtney to advise and execute. thank you, courtney, i look forward to another transaction in the future!

We we so lucky to work with Courtney on our house. We went through lots of ups and downs before finding the perfect house. Once we finally found it, Courtney was a total boss and performed some serious magic to get us the house of our dreams. Courtney is in a word...AMAZING! My wife and I just bought our first home and there was no doubt in my mind that Courtney would be our agent. I used to produce a lot of TV shows for HGTV in the real estate space, and I met Courtney through that world. Despite working with hundreds of agents over the years, Courtney was the only one I considered. From her website to her knowledge of houses and areas to her aesthetic, she is the absolute best agent/broker I've come across. When I introduced my wife to her she was sold and Courtney was hired (after all, my wife is the boss).The house hunting process with Courtney was great. She sent us email recommendations for homes, helped us decide when to make an offer and for how much, and when we found our dream home she went above and beyond to negotiate a great price for it. On top of that, we bought a fixer and she hooked us up with so many incredible vendors, that I would never have known about. She really gives client's her all and fights for your best interests over everything else. Plus she is fun, loves everything about real estate and the process and you can't help but love hanging out with her. Not only will Courtney be our agent/broker for every real estate sale & purchase in our future but we really feel like we made a friend. She and her staff are all incredible to work with. They made the paperwork process easy, and helped calm our nerves as first time buyers working with a difficult seller/selling agent. I would recommend Courtney to anyone in the Los Angeles area. She was forthcoming regarding the potential and real drawbacks of the subject property, and worked hard to ensure that all documents, and disclosures were provided in a timely manner, and sign-offs were obtained. While Courtney was not as knowledgeable as I may have expected regarding properties under Rent Control in LA County, she made up for it by supplying me with information, links to the rent control website, and taking a pro-active stance in representing me to the seller (she was both the buyer and seller's agent in this case) in negotiating monies credited to me for some unanticipated additional costs due directly to rent control. I am overall very pleased with the outcome in general, and with Courtney, in particular.

This review is long overdue.... I contacted Courtney to help us purchase our next home. We had opened escrow on the sale of our home and only had 40 days to find another home and close escrow. I was very nervous about finding a place given our narrow time frame, limited budget and competitive market. However, Courtney assured me that it was very possible. Within a week we checked out a dozen properties with Courtney and made an offer on the perfect house. There were 2 other offers the seller was working with. Thanks to Courtney's persistence and schmoozing with the selling agent, our offer was accepted. Then came the home inspection. The seller's had listed the property as is, however Courtney once again was able to work her magic and get the plumbing updated PLUS $10,500 in closing costs!! AMAZING!! In order to receive the full credit of $10k, we would need to have closing costs totalling at least that much which our loan officer assured as that we did. However, at the close of escrow the closing costs dropped by $3k and the credit was lost. Once again, Courtney takes hold of the situation (this is after the house is now ours) gets the Escrow company, Bank and Seller involved and gets us the balance of the credit!! AGAIN AMAZING!! After a month and a half of living in our house, the waterline breaks so I email Courtney just to find out if it's OK for me to contact the seller's agent directly. Off course, being the go-getter that she is, she takes over and manages to convince the seller to pay for the replacement of the waterline. She definitely went above and beyond of what was expected. It feels like we had every obstacle imaginable thrown at us, however, thanks to Courtney, and not only her extensive knowledge of real estate, but also her ability to act quickly, we were able to overcome them. We are truly grateful for all the hard work Courtney and her team put in to get us our home.

Courtney was such a huge help and a pleasure to work with. As first-time home buyers, my husband and I really did not know what we were getting ourselves into. Courtney was so patient to explain the whole process to us, would check in with us regularly to see how we were doing, and was extremely responsive. She was also extremely familiar with NELA, and even introduced us to local favorites. When we put in an offer on our now-home, she really fought and advocated for us. The seller's agent even notified us that although we did not make the highest offer on the house, he and the seller selected us over other potential buyers because Courtney was so professional and assured him we were sincere in our interest. Courtney was truly a blessing to work with, and I doubt we would have gotten our home without her.
