Dan Slater is a third generation Orange resident. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School, Orange from K-8 and graduated from Orange Lutheran High School in 1977. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton in 1985. His concentration was in finance with an emphasis on real estate. He immediately embarked on his career of residential real estate brokerage at Orange Realty, Inc. Dan Slater is extremely knowledgeable about real estate in all of Orange's diverse communities.

Dan Slater of Orange Realty sold the home we’d lived in for 30 years for significantly more money than we expected, even though the coronavirus lockdown went into effect shortly after we listed the house. He first walked through our home and gave us cleaning, painting, and staging suggestions, without requesting costly remodeling. The glowing description he wrote for the listing and the expertly-taken photographs successfully highlighted the home and neighborhood’s best features. When the first prospective buyer began demanding last-minute concessions and we were afraid the house would have to be deeply discounted, Dan professionally declined and instead found a buyer, even in the midst of a pandemic, who was willing to offer full price. He and assistant Jeannie have high integrity and years of experience. They both remained confident and reassuring every step of the way. Jeannie was warm and kind and did an amazing job of walking us through what would otherwise have been a stressful paper-filled process. They were both highly responsive and available for last-minute questions. We couldn’t be happier with the results. We heartily recommend Dan Slater and Orange Realty.

Wow! It was a pleasure having Dan as our personal realtor. That's what it felt like...our very own personal realtor. Always available when we called. He was always happy to help, answer questions, and give suggestions. He made sure we made the improvements on our condo that counted and didn't encourage us to spend money on things not needed. Dan's knowledge of the market and code issues made our sale very easy. He was very supportive and negotiated expertly when we had questions or issues with the buyers. Dan has a very calming, friendly personality while being extremely professional.
