After my dad passed, I thought I could just stay in the house for the six months allowed by the reverse mortgage. But Edie saw an opportunity to actually make some money by selling it. She took care of everythingaEUR"set up an estate sale (which made us some cash!), got the house emptied out, cleaned, painted, and even staged it with furniture. The place looked amazing. Moving is never easy. A long-distance move out of state can border on traumatic. There were a million details demanding our attention in our move from California to Tennessee. As first time sellers who needed to sell immediately for a job transfer we were very nervous about the process and if we would be able to sell for what we needed. I was hesitant about the pricing, timing, having someone stage my home and that her office wasnt in my city. I quickly realized that I was in great hands and am so glad I listened to their advice!!!!! Our house looked better than I thought possible and had solid offers the same day it hit the market. We signed a deal 3 days after listing for 30k over asking! It was definitely more than I thought we could get. We had an unexpected issue that the inspector found but Edie had a competent and reasonably priced tradesman at the ready and it was fixed the next day. The whole process went smoothly.
