My heart and soul have been in real estate since I rehabbed my first house with my dad when I was 8 years old living in Decatur, IL (the soy bean capital of the world). Fast forward to now and I start and end pretty much every day looking at properties either in person or online with my clients. Real Estate is about a lot more than houses, it's about people, it's about details and it's about knowing how to structure a transaction (and offer) so everyone comes out a winner. Elizabeth didn’t just help us buy a home, she made our dream come true! Mt. Washington was always where we wanted to live, but it seemed out of reach given the competitive market. She jumped right in when we spotted the house we ended up with- navigating and negotiating every step of the way. There’s no way we could have done this without her- I’m not sure any other agent knows the neighborhood like she does. Now that we’re nestled into our new home, we’re just beside ourselves- it’s really a dream come true.

We didn't go looking for Elisabeth. She was selling a house we'd fallen for, and it was the first listing we got serious about. We walked in, and the place smelled like the night we got engaged: the same sage candle, no exaggeration. So maybe our guard was already down. But it wasn't the candle. She met us with a warmth that didn't read as a pitch, and I've sat through enough showings to know the difference between someone performing enthusiasm and someone who genuinely loves walking people into the next part of their lives. There was champagne. There was something she'd baked. Not as some closing tactic... more like a small toast to the fact that we were standing at the edge of our next chapter in life, whether or not this house turned out to be the one. It wasn't. We didn't buy that house. We hired her instead. The home we did find, fought for, and finally moved into is a dream, and Elisabeth is most of the reason we got there. She held our hand through every single step and steadied us through every doubt. What stuck with me most was how much she wanted to actually understand who my partner and I are, enough to advocate for us in the blind spots we couldn't see ourselves. Every anxious spike we had as first-time buyers got met with seasoned vigilance and direct, clear communication. She looms large in my memory, which is funny, because in person she's gentle and completely approachable. I won't try to stack up enough praise to capture what working with her is like. I'll just say this: if you're lucky enough to be reading this and weighing whether to hire her, stop weighing. Elizabeth is amazing!!! There is nothing fake, pretentious, or off-putting about her. I have a unique storybook house that I bought condemned and spent 30 years restoring. It was very hard to let it go. When I met Elizabeth, I knew immediately that she understood me and my house. She understood my attachment to the house and was very sensitive to all my anxiety over its sale. She spent hours with me and kept me informed of everything in the process. She put her heart and soul into my house and our relationship. My house never looked so good by the time it was ready to go on the market. She was able to negotiate a quick sale with a sales price well over my expectations. I truly believe no one else could have done the same job as she. I highly recommend her.

We first met Elizabeth Daly nine years ago when she helped us find and buy our Silver Lake duplex in a competitive market. When it came time to sell the property this winter, we immediately turned to Elizabeth to help us once again and she was terrific. Elizabeth went above and beyond our expectations in preparing, presenting and negotiating the sale of our duplex and did an excellent job all around. We were out of town owners and simply gave Elizabeth the keys to the property. She finished cleaning it out, recommended and supervised the painting and minor repairs and fix-up tasks like new light fixtures, engaged the stager and readied the upstairs unit for showing at its best, all the while coordinating beautifully with the tenants downstairs. Elizabeth gave us all the information we needed to set an appropriate listing price and suggested a showing and offer process that resulted in our receiving seven offers over the asking price. During the post-acceptance inspection period Elizabeth spent many hours working with the buyer's agent to address all issues that arose so that we closed within 30 days as originally agreed. We can't say enough good things about Elizabeth's professionalism, competence and enthusiasm for her work and give her the highest recommendation.
