Like you I was randomly looking at homes on Zillow late at night dreaming about living in Huntington Beach. I looked at one house, and Gantry's name popped up in Zillow and I shot him a question about a house. Next day he responded and we talked briefly about how I wanted to move to Huntington Beach but really didn't think what I wanted was possible at my price point. From there Gantry and team went into action. Finding some homes, explaining the market, setting up showings, and helping me with finance. Reyna & her team were truly a pleasure to work with. After working with 2 other agents, I finally felt like I found a realtor who was truly listening to my wants & needs. During our initial call, I provided Reyna with my specifications, but was still a bit skeptical since I didn't have the best experiences on my previous search. I was especially keen on finding a home that could accommodate my large U-shaped couch, was move-in ready, low HOA and had plenty of room to host a gathering. Reyna pulled together an itinerary of homes to visit the same weekend & lo and behold, the first house we visited matched all but one of my requirements (low HOA). Gantry and Associates was recommended to us by a contact of our listing agent when we sold our Northern California home and relocated to Orange County in 2017. Gantry was very helpful, knowledgeable, and straightforward. His staff is very informative and friendly. If you want an agent who will make sure you get the most when you are selling he is your guy. The only quibble we had was his level of explaining what to expect from the sale and how and when to be prepared for each aspect. We were caught unaware of a couple of items. In addition, there will always be pressure to use his own lender, who I would not recommend as highly as we would Gantry.

We had our heart set on buying a second home in Newport that we could enjoy with our children before they went off to college. This house also needed to be our dream retirement home. The only criticism I have about Gantry is that he went to USC (I went to Cal). Aside from choosing the wrong alma mater, he was a dream to work with! Gantry helped my husband and me buy our first home: our dream loft! We had been stalking the mixed use residential/retail spaces for the past year intent on buying one of those units. In fact, the day we got married last year, we chose to rent an apartment right across the street so that we would be in the same neighborhood. When the loft went on the market, we contacted Gantry that same day (he was the listing agent), we were the first people at the open house and decided to use him as our agent as well. He walked us through the whole process and helped us make an offer that same day. The process was so smooth, his sellers were easy to work with, his staff was on the ball, and regardless of time of day, Gantry always returned our calls, texts, and emails. This gave us so much peace of mind because the waiting game can be brutal! We hit a couple roadblocks during the escrow process but even then he had all the right people lined up in his back pocket to keep the momentum going. The home-buying process is not fun -- there are so many pieces to the puzzle, so many forms to sign, so many documents to supply, but Gantry was with us every step of the way. When we finally closed, he made it a big deal for us -- he presented us with the keys on an engraved keychain and gifted us a with a huge basket full of goodies. His assistant Kay is amazing. Jaime at Surfside Escrow was amazing. Matt and Mike at Mark1 Mortgage were amazing. Everyone he connected us with during the process was so helpful, so quick to respond, and so professional. Gantry was my broker for BOTH the sale of my current home and purchase of my new home, and I highly recommend him! He has a lot of experience and knowledge about our local real estate market. But most of all, I greatly respect his problem solving skills and ability to predict future issues during the escrow process -- e.g., all the homes in my current development had issues with appraisal (the homes don't appraise), but Gantry negotiated a huge premium ABOVE appraised value BEFORE we opened escrow (which Buyer agreed to). My home did not appraised to asking price, but the appraisal contingency never became an issue during escrow -- this is directly due to Gantry's problem solving skills and experience because Buyer already agreed to pay a large premium over appraised value. Both my sale and purchase escrows went very smoothly, and I closed on time thanks mostly to Gantry's knowledge of SoCal real estate, current trends and great negotiation skills. On top of his experience and skills, Gantry is easy to work with, was very transparent and works with great integrity which I totally appreciate. There are too many sleazy real estate agents out there who are clueless. I strongly recommend Gantry and his team to anyone who is looking for an experienced professional with integrity!

We had a vacation condo in HB, but it was too small for our family. Gantry showed us some properties that I requested, but didn't see anything that worked. A new listing came up the next day and even though he was leaving on vacation, he showed us the property. We made an offer that included the contingency that our condo sold. It was accepted. Gantry held two open houses and sold our property for the full asking price in two weeks! He kept us informed and was prompt about returning our calls.
