We hired Garrett to help us sell our condo in Alhambra. We don't live in the area so we needed someone who could manage the entire process of getting our place ready to be listed and sold. We trusted him with literally everything, we just handed over the keys and drove away. We needed to renovate pretty extensively and he managed to do it under budget and ahead of schedule! He gave us advice on what to spend money on and what not to worry about. When it came to listing, he came up with a strategy that got us more than 10 offers all over asking. Garrett knows his stuff. Garrett is amazing!! My husband and I decided to finally make the plunge and buy our first home, and found Garrett through his great reviews. We had a great impression of him immediately. He was friendly, funny, honest and knowledgeable - we just felt as comfortable with him as if we'd already known him for years. My partner and I could not have been happier with our experience working with Garrett. After having some less-than-pleasant experiences with other realtors in the past, we were a little nervous about selecting the right person to help us purchase our first single-family house. Garrett had come highly recommended by friends, and he did not disappoint.From the very first introductory phone call, this was an entirely different experience from before. Garrett took the time to get to know us, and made it abundantly clear that he cared about us as individuals as well as clients. He has an extensive network and knew nearly every selling broker at all of the houses we toured (and we toured quite a few during our home hunting process!). I would highly recommend Garrett to any one considering selling their home in the Los Angeles area. My wife and I had a great experience with him when it came time to sell our condo in Glendale, CA. Garret truly made us feel like our home was in great hands and proactively communicated with us throughout the entire sales process. Here are some highlights:-Garrett laid out a timetable for getting our house to market and he delivered on that timetable. Our listing was delivered on schedule and he worked hard to make sure all work (staging, etc) was completed efficiently and swiftly.-Garrett's background in design allowed him to make superb recommendations on the small cosmetic fixes that had a huge impact on the marketability of our home. Looking for a new home is stressful for many reasons. We knew we wanted to find the right agent to help guide us through the process. After identifying a few agents who all had excellent reviews, we interviewed them in person. Garrett was clearly the best choice and now that we know him, its not surprising that he was also the quickest to respond to our inquiry. He established rapport with us right away and really listened, while at the same time impressing us with his passion, enthusiasm, and intensity, his sense of humor, and his knowledge of the San Gabriel Valley and real estate. He seems to know a lot about everything because he talks to people all day long. The other agents we spoke to were very experienced but they lacked the people skills that Garrett has in abundance. We wanted someone who liked talking to other agents, was a good listener, and would be advantageous to have as a negotiator. Also, we were looking for someone wed want to talk to. Everyone likes Garrett! Garrett was always honest and patient with us, even when we werent really sure what we wanted and when we wanted different things. It took us a few months to find the right place and there were times that we were discouraged, but in the end, we actually found the perfect place after two months of going to open houses. Since we were interested in a hot neighborhood, the house had 7 other bids. The main reason we were able to get the house was that Garrett knew the seller and the seller wanted to work with him. He was able to make our dream a reality. We are extremely impressed with Garretts work ethic and crazy responsiveness. He was up till the wee hours, e.g., 2 AM or later, working. Id send him a text message and he would respond in a few seconds. If I made a comment on the Compass app, hed respond right away. Hes proactive to the extreme and always working hard to stay on top of things for all of his clients. We liked spending time with Garrett, so much so that it feels like the process ended too quickly.

After a brief conversation Garrett had a quick understanding of my needs--even things I didn't think about. He had a good knowledge of what was available and quickly had a list of potential properties for review. As an out of state buyer, he had excellent tools (web and mobile phone app) to present and communicate about properties. We were able to quickly narrow down to a short list of properties and within a week I was in town and we visited a dozen properties. Garrett has an excellent understanding of the pros and cons of the various neighborhoods in the SGV. Once I found a property, Garrett provided great advice on my offer to purchase where there were multiple offers. He successfully guided me through a tricky multiple counter offer situation such that I was successful. He not only provided excellent advice regarding the purchase but also referred me to other service providers to assist with my relocation. As an out of state buyer, Garrett had the tools for me to accomplish everything electronically with ease. Throughout the entire process, he was responsive to my phone calls, texts, and emails.
