He truly listens, is dependable, always has your best interest and provides sound advice. He tells you what you NEED to hear, which is not always what you WANT to hear. We were referred to Greg 9 years ago from a friend who he helped purchase a property in downtown San Diego. During our initial meeting, he took a consultative approach to understand what we were looking for, which as first-time home buyers, we really didn't know at the time. Ultimately, Greg was able to help us find the perfect home that met the majority of our requirements and in a neighborhood we had not initially considered. Its turned out to be a great investment as he said it would be 9 years ago.Greg recently helped us close on our second home. We looked for a condo along the shores of Sail Bay for more than a year, dealing with several brokers in the process with no results. Greg Cummings found the perfect unit for us. When it became clear that there was at least one other buyer competing for that perfect unit Greg clearly defined what we needed to do to prevail. We did what he suggested and we prevailed. I was fortunate enough to select Greg Cummings and his team to list my, now deceased, Mom's home in Fashion Valley, San Diego CA. I am a very busy professional, work in Irvine CA, with lots of work travel responsibilities. I did not have time to devote to the sale of property, nor did have the time or capacity to manage all the details such as coordinate fixing up the property for sale, dealing with all of the escrow requirements, termite inspections, etc... I needed a competent agent who could provide complete listing, marketing services and manage all the details (small and large) that are associated with the sale of the property. Greg and his team performed all of these takes and then some. All documentation that was required to be reviewed and signed was performed securely via email including the final closing documents. I can honestly say that this was the best real estate process I have ever experience to day. Greg and his team really went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable with the entire process of finding a new home. From the very beginning we knew we were in great hands. Greg didn't have any sales pitch to speak of. He was just honest from our very first meetings together. He asked a lot of good questions about what we were looking for and gave us a realistic view of where we might be able to land. Once the time came to make offers he did a fantastic job of keeping us grounded while also doing the best he possibly could with the selling agents to get us the best possible deal. While a lot of these factors would probably be on anyone's list of basic expectations it really is the rest of his team that sets him apart from his peers. Greg has a team of handlers that really went above and beyond what one would typically expect their real estate team to take care of. Beyond just handling escrow paperwork, contracts and the myriad forms involved in these types of transactions his team also handled a multitude of logistical items that I know we never would have had the time to deal with in the short time we had before closing. Everything from standard to specialty inspections, referrals and consults with contractors and even coordination of some home improvement items post-close were all handled on our behalf and always with a smile and a thank you.
