When it comes to real property transactions, you simply MUST have an experienced, conscientious champion looking out for your well being. I've known Jackie Akester for twelve years, and have leased, bought, and sold Las Vegas real estate properties with her acting as my broker - the most recent one having closed this past June. I've had enough RE experiences over the years to know that "no two real estate deals are ever the same." Some go relatively smoothly. Others can be really, really frustrating. You may be dealing with inexperienced buyers or sellers. Lenders can either do their jobs efficiently (or) be so inept that you wonder how they stay in business. Property inspectors can be first rate pros or come off as being real nincompoops. The list goes on. Jackie knows all this - and how to deal effectively on your behalf. She routinely exhibits an ability to stay focused and keep your deal (whether buying or selling) on track right up through the 'closing' process. Give her a call - you'll end up being almighty thankful that you did!

Jackie is simply the best realtor I have worked with and I have bought and sold properties for over 35 years. She is very knowledgeable on the Las Vegas Market. I can give her my best recommendation. She recently sold my town home for me in the Summerlin area. We experienced several unrealistic offers/buyers, non professional realtors and lenders along the way. She worked through the mess of offers and lack of follow through on the potential buyers side in a very prompt and professional manner. At the end ,the home closed and I am a very happy seller.

I live in Houston, Texas and owned a condo in the Red Hills Association in Las Vegas, NV. Jackie was referred to me by a friend who had used her services to update and sell a Las Vegas house they owned. When I contacted Jackie I offered to fly to Vegas and walk through the unit and decide what renovations needed to be made prior to listing the unit. Jackie suggested we use technology and that saved me a trip to Vegas. In fact, I never went back to the condo. Jackie worked with a local contractor, Vogl Construction, and we painted, replaced carpet, did some light construction, replaced all light fixtures, and made minor repairs. The entire process took from mid-October to listing on November 15th and a cash offer of $3,000 below asking price was made on Nov. 20th. The closing took place on Nov. 29 and funds dispersed on Friday, Nov. 30th. I cannot begin to express how professional and timely Jackie was. She called and emailed often and kept me in the loop. I can't imagine having tried to do all this work from Houston without her knowledge of the market and connections to various construction vendors. I would recommend her services to anyone. And by the way, I also let her select paint colors, carpet, light fixtures, etc. and she has excellent taste. If I owned another Vegas property I would have Jackie as my agent.

We first met Jackie about 3 years ago, while in town we spent two days with Jackie as she showed us various neighborhoods and some of the currently available homes. We returned to Illinois to start getting our home ready to list. During this time Jackie emailed us listings of homes that she thought would fill the bill. It took approx two years to sell our home and in late Feb. we found ourselves with a signed contract on our home with closing set for March 27th. We contacted Jackie & flew out to Vegas to find our home in the West and we allotted a week to accomplish this task. Jackie showed us approx. 20 + homes in our first 4 days and we found our home late on the day 4, Saturday. We made an offer and signed a contract on day 5. We got a signed contract back from the seller first thing on day 6 and Jackie was able to arrange for a home inspection on Monday afternoon and we received a report, discussed repairs needed, received acceptance from seller for repairs and flew back to Illinois on the red eye on day 7. While we were busy getting ready for our closing and moving of our furnishings out of our home, Jackie was taking care of everything in Vegas for us. She reviewed all the repairs that we requested and did the final walk thru prior to our closing. Not only did she do everything we asked of her, she came up with items that we did not even think of. She was truly a life saver and a pure pleasure to deal with.

As a property manager, she handled problems quickly and we could always count on her; as a sales agent, she kept us informed each step of the way and made the transaction so much easier for us!. Ms Akester was my property manager for 7 years and then sales agent. I have had over 10 different property managers and real estate agents for various properties in several states. None have even come close to her skill. She worked very hard to sell my property even though it meant lost revenue as a property manager. The buyer made the sale unusually difficult but Jackie did a great job keeping the buyer happy and protected my interest as the seller.

When it comes to real property, one simply must surround him/herself with the best available talent. If you don't - others will - and you'll likely be the worse for it. To the good folks who may read this, rest assured that this ain't my first rodeo. Over the years I have bought and sold more homes than most - in multiple states and jurisdictions. In such a scenario, one can't help but learn some valued lessons to carry forward. I've known Jackie Akester just a shade under ten years now. I have leased, bought, and sold real property in the Vegas valley area with her having been my champion along the way. And she has proven herself to be not only competent, but geniunely gifted. Jackie helped me close my most recent deal a little less than a month ago. And I am unable to imagine doing it without her guidance. Allow me to pass along something I learned long ago: "things of quality have NO fear of time."

She'll refuse to terminate your listing agreement. I made the amateur mistake of not paying attention to the YEAR she alotted herself to sell my home and she won't terminate even now when I'm displeased with her preformance. Showings turn into no shows and she hasn't showed my home once that I'm aware of in 5 months. She negotiates excellent for herself. She won't cancel the listing and she's fighting for herself not me the client.

Not having purchased a property in several years I thought I knew it all. I met Jackie and she immediately had a grasp on my goals for a property. She identified properties that met my criteria so I could narrow our search. Her selections were so spot on we had a few choices fairly quickly. Jackie understands all facets of the Real Estate market including contracts and generally what is fair in a transaction. This only comes with experience. Our financing was anything but normal however Jackie was ALWAYS available when I needed assistance. I found her to be the most experienced person among all of the parties involved. Jackie helped me sell my town home in the Summerlin area in 2015. She patiently waited for several months to actually make the decision and list the home. Our purchase was NOT typical. Problems came from every direction. With our new house having extensive water damage near the end of escrow. She was always available to let in yet another contractor for estimates. She maintained great communication with us, the sellers agent, our lender, and the Title company. She made a very stressful transaction not only work but also listened to ALL of my frustrations about it. Because of the way she conducted our purchase, she is listing our current house to sell.

In today's competitive real estate market, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find trustworthy people to do business with.
