We had an exceptional experience with John White, who sold my still-active 93 year moms classic mid-century condo in Palm Desert last month. She and my dad lived there for 30 years, but it was time to move her into senior living in San Francisco near my sister. John was very attentive and supportive of her wishes, with a minimum of interruption to her personally. Once she moved out, he very quickly orchestrated freshening up the interior with paint touch-ups, carpet cleaning, and staging of furnishings reflective of the era. Just over 18 months ago, we were walking in our neighborhood and noticed a home for sale that was superbly presented by John White. It sold and closed in a couple of weeks. We made a mental note that if we ever sold our home, John was the person we would call and we did! My wife says it best, 'John was exceptional. Better than we could ever have hoped for. John guided us perfectly, from the correct listing amount, and marketing plan, including knowing how to stage our home perfectly, well, he happens to have a well renowned Palm Springs designer on team. Our buyer also had high praise, 'we have purchased a number of properties, usually there's a lot of tension and stress, but not with this purchase. Buying a house is stressful at any time. Buying a house in Palm Springs while we were living in New York added another level of stress we didn't need. The one thing we did need was an awesome agent who could make it all easy and wonderful and we found that in John. We met John through a friend who insisted we call him right away and a huge thanks to that friend for making the connection. John kept us calm, kept us on track and stood with us through the process. It wasn't always great, we lost some places because the world is crazy, but losing the places led us to the right place that we ended up with and we couldn't be more excited. He was patient and didn't let us over pivot when things got tough and he prevented us from making emotional offers that made no sense and we are so grateful for this guidance. He was always happy to show me listings online and do FaceTime tours while we were in New York. I cant think of many agents who would dedicate that much time to someone he just met who also lived in NY.
