We found Juan through one of his listings and from the very first phone conversation he was knowledgable and transparent. He worked with us for almost a year, through the ups and downs and many changes and challenges. We looked in 6 different cities in Southern California from Long Beach to Moreno Valley. He was amazing with negotiation and got several of our offers accepted. He was always honest and extremely responsive, even during the Thanksgiving holidays. He made it possible for us to close on a great home and great deal! We will definitely use him as an agent again and 100% recommend him.

Juan is very smart, knowledgeable, efficient, trustworthy, accommodating, and great at negotiating the best price for you. It is hard to find an agent with such good moral compass these days. Juan helped me find a rental 3 years ago and now looking to buy my first home. I've had friends and family who worked with other agents before buying and selling and that experience left them somewhat skeptical of realtors. So when I first went into the process with juan, I expected the same. I was used to hearing about realtors who are pushy, who are just out for themselves so they can make a commission, or may not be familiar with the area you're purchasing in, but turns out, that is not the case with Juan. And believe me, it's rare to find that! Juan is very considerate of his clients needs. He's no pressure - at all! He never tries to convince me that a property is for me when it's not. He doesn't encourage me to spend more than Iam comfortable on spending. He lets me make that decision for myself without pressuring me. So far he has been devoted to the entire process. That speaks volumes to me and shows me that hes not for himself or the fast commission. It's hard to trust people when they stand to make a big chunk of money based on your purchase or sale. It's your money, but their commission is affected by it. With Juan, I feel trust, and confidence. If you are fortunate, you become quite close with your realtor when you go through this process - if they are a good personable realtor. And I can tell you that I plan to keep Juan as my life time go to realtor. Very Excited to be a first time home buyer soon thanks to Juan! We began our home buying process in November 2018. Juan asked about our likes and wants for a home and immediately found available homes in the area. Each time we went out for an open house/appointment we had more and more insight to what we were actually looking for in a home. Juan would take our feedback and find more homes that met our new likes and wants list. When making offers he negotiated on our behalf. When in escrow he patiently described documents after documents for us to understand. He kept us updated throughout the whole process. The first time I contacted Juan was on an add for a listed home, however due to finances I didnt buy a home that year. He did however help me find an apartment and even though he didnt make much of of that he was still very helpful. Since then (2 years after the apartment) I have recently purchased a home with his help. It was a hard process for me in this current market since my budget was on a lower end. But we finally found a home. He was there throughout the whole process to help with any questions I had. Many drives to many homes and no offers on my end, yet he continued to show me homes and never said no. Juan Zarate has been an amazing agent and I will continue to work with him in the near future when I am ready for another purchase or to sell. I recommend him to anyone in the IE.
