The difference between pain and pleasure when selling a home is the realtor..... and Marcy Roth completely anesthetized us to every difficulty, annoyance and issue related to concluding a successful sale of our Wilshire Hi-rise condo (and selling on the Wilshire corridor is always a highly competitive challenge)! Simply put, she is organized, savvy, dedicated, pro-active, thorough, persistent, creative, patient, determined, intuitive, calm and amazing! She managed everything from pricing, to staging, to inventive showings, to dealing with an impossible buyer, to maneuvering last minute escrow changes, and to donating potted trees that we couldn't take with us to a school. Marcy helped my girlfriend and I find the most perfect home. For a month Marcy worked diligently to make sure we found a place that fit with our vision. Anytime a new home would come on the market (Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Santa Monica, and Venice), she would immediately send it to me within minutes of it being listed. This type of management provided a great level of assurance because we were always one of the first – if not the first – people to view the home and make an offer. She would schedule the house showings for us at convenient time and would be there any day of the week, whether the weekend or the weekday. In addition, her communication was superb during the whole process. During the application process, she worked overtime to make sure the application was done properly and I felt confident that she was putting our best interests forth and doing whatever she could to secure the deal. When it was coming down to the wire and I couldn’t fill out all the forms, she took it on herself to fill them out and submit them even though it was a Saturday evening. Another great aspect of Marcy and her services was how careful she was to make sure everything was done properly and our leasing agreement was in our best possible interests. She met with me to get the keys, and brought all the necessary documents to do the walk-through in order to ensure our security deposit was protected. Lastly, Marcy was always very friendly and positive and made us feel very comfortable and at ease during what can be a very stressful time of house-hunting.
