Understandably, I was nervous about finding a realtor that would help me sell my house as someone who doesnt have many local friends who have bought and sold real estate in Los Angeles. You hear so many horror stories. Matt was referred to me through a friend of my family back east. From the moment I met Matt, it was clear that I was in safe hands. Jowell and I would like to sincerely thank Matt Wong for being our realtor. With Matts help we were able to find and buy our first home! Our experience with Matt was better than we could imagine. I am not one to write reviews, but Matt has changed that for me! From the moment I met him, I knew he was going to be the go to agent for our family. Since the last few years Matt has helped my sister purchase a condo in Ontario and helped our close family friends sell their home in Chino. He took his time with us and figured out the best way to help us and gave us guidance every step of the way. I have met a few agents and Matt truly loves and enjoys what he does which separates him from the rest. Matt! He is the agent everyone needs! As first time buyers we had no idea where to start and I'm glad Matt was there from the beginning. He explained everything and I mean EVERYTHING! First off he is a very knowledgeable and experienced agent. If we had a question (which I had many) he knew the answer or found the answer very quickly. He was always available and worked around our work schedules to meet our needs. This review is definitely long overdue! I wanted to make sure I express how much we appreciate Matt! A year into purchasing our first home, Matt is still there to support us whenever we have questions. My husband and I were looking for our first home in California. We began to feel pessimistic purchasing a home due to the value of houses in the area not correlating with the amount we were approved for. Then we were began to work with Matt and our hopes became a reality! Matt was very consistent throughout the whole process and responded quickly when we asked questions. Our best interest was always top of mind and he didn't stop until we found a home we fell in love with and fit our budget! He ensured the home was safe and up-to-date. We really appreciated how professional and truthful he was. Matt would go over the pros and cons in detail of each property and by doing so , allowed my husband and I to make a proper decision. Matt was involved every step of the way and even exceeded our expectations. When I met with Matt about purchasing property the thing that was most noticeable right away was how much he knows about the market. He can tell you what new properties have hit the market, how many homes have sold recently, how many homes have sold for list price and above, how long homes are staying on the market, how much inventory is in the market, etc. It really is amazing how he can give so much information right on the spot. Most realtors can't do that. If you want to work with someone who really knows what is going on in the market and how that relates to what you want to accomplish as a home buyer or home seller then you need to contact Matt.

I reached out to Matthew looking to purchase my first starter home - something simple to fit my lifestyle around the San Gabriel Valley area. Matthew was very knowledgeable in the area and I give him brownie points because I can't be the one spending the time explaining what I'm talking about to an agent when he/she should be the expert in the area.One sentence: Matthew does his homework and LISTENS to what you want. Some agents may only know the surface but Matthew knew exactly what I was talking about and what I wanted in my first home. Since it was my first time purchasing a house I needed a bit of hand holding and Matthew was very patient, responsive, and filled me in on all the steps along the way towards purchasing a new home. He even set me up with his lender and we discussed about the next steps but unfortunately, the lender wasnt able to approve me for what I was looking for.... So I will have to hold off on the house hunting but will definitely recommend Matthew as your agent.
