Melissa is the best Real Estate Expert I have ever had the privilege to meet and work with. Efficient, fast, knowlegeable, incredibly smart, and knows what is coming before you do. She got my mother much, MUCH more for her home then she ever expected! Melissa was patient with us. I knew Mom was getting... older... and would have to move at some point so I researched fora real estate expert for months! I needed someone who could tell us what was worth redoing, what was valued in San Diego, logical to update, and most importantly, what was not. Melissa had the best reviews from other agents and clientsfin so I finally called her for a chat. She came to the house, talked with Mom who didn't think she would ever move, and gave us advise on what we could do and who to use to update and remodel mom's home. It was clear Mom was not ready to sell but Melissa really didn't care! Throughout COVID Melissa would occasionally check on her and give us contractor contacts and quiet, thoughtful advice. When Mom was Finally ready to move, the house still had a few things to finish but despite us being overseas, she calmly finished the remodel, then dealt with a mover I insisted on but turned out to be horrible and took weeks to pack! Melissa patiently waited until I asked her for help, then again just simply and quietly got us packed, moved, and helped us with a realtor! All while we were overseas and unreachable for the most part! She found us notaries and researched how to both sell and buy homes while not in the country. Harder than it sounds by a long shot. I think I have seen Melissa - maybe twice in person - but consider her the template that not just Realtors should copy but as one of the permantent people in my life. She will get Christmas Cards! In less than 30 days we had an offer on our listing and closed escrow, even during the crazy market transition. The few hiccups that happened along the way were handled efficiently, professionally and even creatively to make sure everything was finalized to our satisfaction as well as the buyer. Communication was outstanding and continuous- even in the evening and on weekends as needed. She has a great team of professionals (painting, staging, carpet, cleaners) that she has gathered to do whatever we were not able to do from a distance- scheduling and pricing were excellent. As buyers, we would recommend Melissa 100%. It's been a very difficult market for buyers, and all told, our search process took an entire year and 3 houses in escrow. Melissa shone through these difficult conditions. She is always gracious and on top of her game. She's extremely responsive which is huge for us as busy parents and living in another city (great communication over text and email, no long phone calls or phone tag, fast responses and info). She gets stuff done FAST. For example, scheduling inspections, coordinating follow up inspections, etc, which is crucial when you only have 10 days inspection contingency. And when it came time to negotiate, she always did a great job; I was confident we had the best negotiator at the table. Finally, Melissa is positive, honest, and hardworking. Marissa is absolutely outstanding! Not only did she sell the house in 5 days, she replaced the first buyers who backed out of the sale immediately after they signed the offer with a new buyer the same day at the exact same unbelievably great price. Her negotiating skills were apparent when she moved the buyers offer from what it initially was $24K higher to where it ended up. The initial offer was already at the extreme top end of what I thought it could bring, so when she was able to get the large additional amount I was flabbergasted! With that one sale in this neighborhood she raised the property values for all future real estate sales. I recommend her to anyone who is planning on selling a house!

Melissa Goldstein Tucci is hands down the best realtor I have ever dealt with. She has been the realtor for our extended family in San Diego county, California for at least the last 10 yrs, helping sell our parental home when my dad died, and helping other relatives with their real estate needs too. We recently sold our rental home in San Diego and got a great price for it thanks to the wonderful staging and gorgeous photography which Melissa paid for out of her commission. She advertised the house extensively and it sold super well in less than 48 hours!! I'm definitely a perfectionist. Melissa stood out among agents we considered as a perfectionist and true expert. Trust me, you want Melissa on your real estate team. Read on for reasons why.She handled pre-listing prep work including sourcing and coordinating some light remodeling, painting, termite work, etc. She has great contacts and was able to manage the projects for us. She handles everything herself. If you've ever dealt with other real estate firms, you know you can get shuffled around with different admins, etc. This is a huge plus -- you're always dealing directly with the expert.Secondly, she is GREAT at strategy and negotiation. Other realtors we considered did not want to list our home as high as we were hoping. Melissa embraced the challenge of selling at a price many saw as too high. There were some scoffers among early showings. But she knew the market better than others. She held on to high hopes while being realistic and not over-promising.Thirdly, Melissa was extremely responsive, and patient. I would email her very late at night or early in the morning and usually got nearly immediate responses. She answered our many questions along the way.Last, you can trust Melissa - both to do the right thing and to get the job done. She always got things done. Nothing slipped through the cracks. As a first-time home buyer, I had a lot of uncertainty and insecurity about the process. Also, I had not heard many good things about real-estate agents in general. Lucky for me, Melissa and her team did an amazing job of helping me all along the way. I looked for a place for over two years and Melissa and her assistants were always responsive and made an effort show me properties as quickly as possible. They always gave me lots of time to explore potential homes and never pressured me to purchase anything I was not comfortable with. When I did find a place I was ready to buy, Melissa advised me through the whole purchase process. We had Melissa represent us for our condo purchase three years ago and this sale of the same condo was made during the very stressful and complicated pandemic. Alot of problems could have occured that didnt because Melissa made the entire process proceed so smoothly without any complications. She has exceptional negotiating and marketing skills, and is highly efficient and proactive. Melissa is highly motivated to achieve the type of client satisfaction other agents promise but seldom achieve. We have had many agents thru our lives for home purchases and sales and not one of them are in the same class as Melissa. She really is more about client satisfaction than her profit margin. The agent fee she charged us was way below what other agents were charging. We were fortunate that she had our condo sold within a day of it being listed for sale. Unfortunately the buyers loan fell thru after a couple weeks of our condo being taken off the market due to the pending sale. That would normally be a disaster for a seller and cost alot of money lost. But not when Melissa is your agent. She relisted the condo the same day as the buyer canceling and within ten hours she had it sold again for the same price as before which was so impressive. Another problem developed before the closing with some fees being charged by the title company being inflated that we objected to. Melissa took it upon herself to resolve this problem she wasnt responsible for and saved us alot of money. There should be a sixth star on this review to recognize how special she is over her competitors. If you are searching for an honest, efficient, highly motivated real estate agent that you can trust and will work tirelessly to save you the most money Melissa is the agent for you. Like others have said, Melissa deserves more than 5*. We started our search for a new home March 13, 2020, the Friday before everything shut down for Covid that next Monday. We were working with another agent. We finally found a home that we loved, and put an offer on it in May. We did not get it, and realized afterwards that it was likely due to the Agents lack of experience in strong negotiating. We and the other buyer offered the same $ over asking. It took us til October to realize we needed to find a new agent. After interviewing several, we moved forward with Melissa.From the get-go, she was completely engaged with us, sending us listings the day after we sent her our "wish list". Each subsequent listing matched exactly what we conveyed were "must haves". She didn't bombard us with homes that were out of our range or did not fit what we were looking for. She understood we had been looking for 7 months and didn't want to settle. Less than two weeks of working with her, she sent us a listing that we knew was it. Long story short, of 15 (FIFTEEN) other offers, ours was chosen. We, unequivocally, know that it was HER negotiating skills and expertise that got us chosen. She made our offer stronger, and was as determined to get us the house, as if it was her own. Her efforts did not end there.Melissa was in touch with us every single day once we saw the home. She put us in touch with a fantastic lender that was just as competent as her (and reachable 24/7 like Melissa). She does not stop working for you. This attitude and service was completely different than our previous agent. While we closed on the home a week ago, her contact did not end there. This is the second time we've worked with Melissa and I really thank our lucky stars that we found her because she is the best in the business! The first time, she helped us with buying our first condo and walking us through all of the crazy steps as first-time buyers. This most recent time, she helped us find our dream house and sell our condo.She was born to do this, seriously, this is in her blood, DNA, whatever. Melissa Tucci was hired after other realtors were unable to properly market my home in North Pacific Beach at 1776 Beryl Street. She quickly obtained the homes historical records which the others failed to accomplish after weeks of promises. Based on her findings we were able to put a proper marketing plan into play which generated a bidding war on the home. Not only was Melissa a professional in every sense of the word, she even stepped up to the plate with her own money to insure the deal remained in play. I am a native San Diegan of 72 years and have a varied background in local real estate here. When our family sold a property here, owned since 1925, I searched, interviewed many realtors and offerings to find her. Even our trust, estate attorney since 1996 said that in his business and over many years, he has dealt with many realtors - but never one like this. He was so impressed by her he asked me how I found her - I said "it took awhile of searching and interviewing." She never missed a beat to include: Answering all E-mails, phone calls immediately, patiently answered all questions. She hands-on orchestrated all repairs, and needed updates, cleaning crew; hired the workers, at reasonable costs, followed up on all progress along the way. Her advertising was the top of the top - from posting virtual tours to showing the property, to flyers, ads, and staging it with the perfect furniture to show it at its best. She updated me weekly on everything going on with comments and head counts of those who saw the property. She is prompt to return calls and messages and describes things in a useful manner for the inexperienced home buyer like myself. She had an assistant chauffeur me around to about 20 open houses in the areas I was interested in and a few others she suggested based on what my wife and I liked. Melissa and her assistant have excellent local knowledge. She made the process extremely easy and had a great team to use during the escrow process. We have just passed a year in the home and will definitely use Melissa again.

This woman is an absolute rockstar. She helped my husband and I buy our first house and was such an angel. Melissa helped my husband and I sell our first house and purchase our dream property in Alpine, California. While I'm sure we weren't the most difficult clients to deal with, we were by no means the easiest either. It took several months to find the house we wanted - one that satisfied our short but daunting checklist. And of course once we we did find the right property, we had to hustle big time and Melissa transitioned smoothly from 5MPH to warp speed. I can't say there wasn't any surprises along the way because there always is, but Melissa guided us through those moments with unwavering patience and everything always worked out in the end.
