They first helped me sell my condo in the Villa La Verne HOA in November 2020. Just one day after listing it on the MLS, they had a strong offer in hand, and the condo sold shortly after. I was extremely impressed with how quickly and smoothly the process went. Fast forward to March 2026, and I once again trusted Nancy and Tom to list and sell my second condo in the same HOA. Once again, they secured a solid offer just one day after it was listed on the MLS. Their work ethic and real estate expertise are truly outstanding. During both transactions, there were HOA repair issues that needed to be resolved, and I was amazed at the level of respect the Villa La Verne HOA had for them. My home was listed on a Friday at a reasonable price. It was a fixer upper. The home was listed at $850,000, and the next day we had a $840,000 cash offer. Not to jump the gun, Nancy waited. Within two more days, she had a $850,000 cash offer with a seven day escrow. She waited in case someone wanted to exceed the asking price. She got several offers, but we decided the $850,000 cash offer with seven day escrow was the way to go. Nancy listed the home and sold it at asking price in a total of two weeks. You can’t beat that. I was kept advised of everything happening on a regular basis. You can’t ask for better service than what Nancy provides. I would definitely use her service again, if I ever have a need to sell a home again. Give her a try and you won’t be disappointed. She’s the best.

I was disappointed with the efforts from Telford Real Estate team to find buyers for our home. We meet with the Telford’s approximately three weeks prior to listing our home to get an evaluation of the Claremont market, get a feel for a reasonable sale price based on current market conditions, and to get advice on any improvements needed for our home prior to listing. The Telford’s informed us that Claremont was still considered a high demand market with limited inventory and if we listed our home slightly below market value we would likely get lots of interest and multiple offers. We followed their advice, made the necessary improvements, set our asking price slightly below the suggested market value, and kept our home in top condition and available for viewing. We only got three buyers to look at our home (all from other agents). The Telford’s never brought a single client to view our home. We were lucky to get a single offer but we had to settle for $30K below our asking price. The Telford’s efforts to find us buyers appeared to us to just put a “for Sale” sign in the front yard and list the house on various real estate websites. The Telford’s did do an adequate job of taking photos, writing a description for the listing, setting up escrow, working with the buyer agent, and supporting the home inspection and buyer walkthrough’s. I felt that the Telford’s just did the bare minimum effort to sell our home, the easy path for them, not working to get us the best deal, while collecting a $29K commission on the sale of our home. I was not impressed with the efforts from these folks.

We had a great experience with Nancy Telford. I was already in Texas with my youngest son while my wife and oldest son were living in our Upland Townhome. We were considering the same agent who helped us buy the Townhome five years earlier. She works in the Valley and wasn't on board with the price we were considering. I decided to find someone local with significant experience and success in our local market. I called Nancy and asked her for a market analysis and a pricing recommendation. She came back with a valuation estimate that was $20K more than what we were considering. We were blown away when she came back with an offer at full price within 24 hours of listing it on the market and a backup offer at full price a week later. Without Nancy's help we could have really missed out. Nancy was super responsive and helped us navigate almost the entire process online (as I was in another state) and consistently arraigned for our property to be shown - even after we had received offers and in spite of all the limitations resulting from COVID 19. When it comes to reviews, I more often than not pass. The reason is very simple, most people/businesses do not meet or very rarely exceed my expectations. This was not the case with Nancy and her staff. Buying a second home in another state has its challenges. Nancy was patient to a fault with all of my requests and the research I asked her to do. There was never any pushback, and we ended every conversation with "What else can I do for you Bob" ? This is how I run my business, so it was refreshing to find an Agent that you really feel is a partner with you when making a very important decision like buying a house. My wife and I began our search for a home to purchase in Claremont in April 2016. We knew we definitely wanted to be in Claremont and were unwilling to settle for anything less than the perfect home for us. We were introduced to Nancy and her husband Tom through the USAA Movers Advantage program. I am naturally very skeptical about realtors, and Nancy and Tom were no different. We knew Nancy was one of the most successful and well-known realtors in the Foothill Communities, and used to selling multi-million dollar homes. Being that we were in the market at a lower price point, and were very picky, we felt sure that Nancy and Tom would not want to devote much time to us and quickly grow tired of our selectiveness. Nothing could have been further from the truth! The Telfords were willing to go out of their way to show us homes when convenient for us, a very difficult task since we both work busy, full-time jobs. They were willing to show us homes multiple times so we could get the opinions of various friends and family members and take a closer look at certain things. They guided us through the process of making offers on four homes, and always made sure we didn’t get caught up in the excitement of a bidding war and make an unwise decision. Once under contract with the home that we now own, the Telfords helped us negotiate approximately $15,000 in repairs and seller concessions on an “as-is” sale. We then ran into major difficulties with our lender (who had been referred to us by another realtor we had worked with) and we came very close to losing the sale. Nancy hounded our lender incessantly and demanded that they provide us with the service they had promised. She and Tom also were able to persuade the selling agent to continue to work with us despite our challenges. At the end of the day, we felt that we wound up with a home that was perfect for us and obtained at a great value for the market. Without Nancy and Tom’s guiding hand, we never would have been able to seal the deal in the difficult Claremont housing market. Additionally, we referred Nancy and Tom to work colleagues that were relocating from the East Coast.
