Natalie Neith has almost 30 years of experience in Los Angeles real estate and is a consistent top producer for Compass. Accredited by the select Architectural Division, Natalie is an expert in marketing historic and architecturally distinctive properties. From vintage mansions to contemporary condos to everything in between, she has sold hundreds of homes in the LA area, representing celebrity sellers, repeat customers, investors and first-time buyers alike. Though most of her business is through referral, Natalie is also an E-certified Relocation Specialist and has navigated her clients through numerous short sale and REO purchases and sales. She is often used as a valued resource for press & media outlets reporting on LA real estate and historic properties, including The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Larchmont Chronicle and several television networks. Her team includes a Transaction Coordinator, Listing Coordinator, a graphic designer, and an assistant, as well as full use of Compass's ever-expanding network of office locations and web-based services (www.Compass.com). Such professional support has allowed Natalie to serve both buyers and sellers in some of LA's most distinctive neighborhoods–Historic West Adams, Larchmont, Windsor Village, Hancock Park, Miracle Mile, West Hollywood, Country Club Park, Hollywood Hills, Silverlake, Echo Park, Glassell Park, Leimert Park, Baldwin Hills, Baldwin Village, Ladera Heights, View Park, Windsor Hills, Highland Park and the Westside. Both Natalie and her late husband, Ken Catbagan, came to real estate from the arts & education–he as a college art professor and she as an art teacher. They previously owned and operated a pottery school, studio and contemporary craft gallery in Santa Monica. Natalie's eye for design and ability to see potential in each property comes from this solid background. Having personally restored several historic and architectural properties, she understands what restoration and preservation are all about. Her extensive community involvement and volunteerism with numerous non-profit organizations is evidenced through her ongoing support for the YMCA, Gramercy Housing Group, West Adams Heritage Association, Aidswalk (Starwalker), the Alzheimer's Association, Bikers Against Diabetes, Guide Dogs for the Blind, the National Stroke Association and the American Cancer Association. Whether buying or selling, in Hollywood or Historic West Adams, mansion or bungalow–Natalie and her team can be relied on for great service, cutting-edge technological tools, knowledgeable attention to detail and, most importantly of all, RESULTS!!!
Natalie was very charming, competent, and easy to work with.
Natalie was very charming, competent, and easy to work with. She did all her homework for the comps and we set a reasonable price that ended being exceeded in the final offer. She was astute to keep up with the other realtors and was on top of all the inspections that had to be done. She kept me up to date with things that needed to be done and a big plus was doing all the documents on-line. From the beginning we had a closing date in mind...and guess what...we met that date. I would highly recommend her services.
I am writing to express my appreciation and recommendation for Natalie Neith of Compass Realty. My wife and I moved into the historic West Adams neighborhood in 2004. We restored a 1907 Victorian/Craftsman down to the studs and after 16 years in the neighborhood decided to move out of the city to be closer to our son’s special needs school. Facing leaving our home where we had made strong friendships and were raising two little kids was both emotionally and logistically daunting. Thank goodness for Natalie. Natalie Neith is a joy! We had known of, met and spoken to Natalie over our years while building a life in West Adams. Natalie was known to us as someone who was extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhood’s historical significance as well as its real estate investment potential. When we wanted an honest and candid assessment of what our home was worth and what it might fetch, the people we trusted told us, “ask Natalie”. So we did just that. Natalie knew we weren’t ready to move but she came over anyway and took the time to take us through what she felt we would need to do to get our home well positioned to sell. Her direct, pull no punches manner and measured thoughtful responses to every possible crazy question was refreshing and reminds me how rare that is from anyone these days. So, time passed and we found that our son’s needs trumped our love of our neighborhood. We found the home we wanted closer to his school but to make that work we had to be able to sell our home, and fast. We called Natalie and now I can tell you it was the single best thing we did during the whole process. Natalie asked us a lot of questions, assessed the situation and laid out a strategy. I wish I could tell you it was as easy as that and everything went off without a hitch. But the best laid plans can easily go astray and so did ours. The clock was ticking, we had to sell and the world was changing, the market - challenging and tough. How would people visit our home during a pandemic safely? Covid-19 had us sequestered in our homes, how could we possibly have anyone touring the house? How would we manage the kids? Where would the cat go? In the midst of so much uncertainty we could count on one thing, Natalie. When our buyer fell out, when circumstances changed, when we didn’t know where to go with the kids, there was Natalie. She was focused, determined, unflappable and always professional. All the while she invested herself in us, in our desired outcome and she fought. She never shirked from telling us the hard truths but always had a path forward. Well, after a lot of ups and downs in these uncertain times, we sold the house. The new buyers are wonderful and Natalie was with us every step of the way!
Natalie has been a terrific Agent. I was so impressed with her when she sold me my House in 2004 that I asked to find a House for my Sister. She led her through the bidding wars with ease. Incredibly, she was the Agent for most of the homes in my Historic Neighborhood. I have also worked with her as a Rental Agent for our Rental Properties. She is my go to Agent because of her passion, expertise and compassion. No one works harder and we have worked very successfully with her for the past 16 years.
13 years ago, Natalie helped us buy the home. When it came time to relocate we reached out to her because we had such a good experience buying our home. Natalie prepared a detailed market report that made it easy to establish a reasonable asking price. In these uncertain times, she established a pre-approval process for interested buyers that allowed only qualified and serious parties to tour the house in person. The result of her expertise were multiple offers in a little over a week. The selling process was demystified and made easy for us by Natalie. I highly recommend her for your real estate needs.
Natalie continues to be our Super Agent! This time she sold our house. She had an excellent pre-marketing strategy with gorgeous photography. I do believe the home was sold before anyone set foot in it. She showed it to four potential buyers two days after listing, and we immediately had four offers, all well over asking. She didn't stop there and continued to make sure we got the best offer possible. Thank you Natalie!
