Ryan Dunn has been excelling in his real estate career for the last 20 years. No two days — or two clients — are alike, and Ryan thrives on the diversity. Much of Ryan’s early real estate knowledge came from growing up in Alameda with his father, an agent, and getting a steady glimpse into home showings, client meetings, and his community’s neighborhoods. After Ryan graduated from UC Davis with a managerial economics degree and began developing his niche in the tech landscape, he discovered that his passion was in interacting one-on-one with people. After helping one of his friends search for a new home, he held a newfound appreciation for his father’s career and decided to follow suit, becoming a licensed real estate professional in 2003. After excelling at a large brokerage firm, Ryan joined his dad in the business and earned his broker’s license. Along with Ryan’s natural sales abilities is his adamancy that clients receive the most timely and accurate information to help them make confident decisions. His memberships in the National Association of Realtors®, California Association of Realtors®, and the Alameda chapter of the Bay East Association Realtors®, give him further insights into industry changes and updates to help ensure his clients are always in the know. Away from the office, Ryan spends much of his free time with his wife and two young sons. He also enjoys playing basketball and caring for his saltwater fish tanks with vivid fish and corals.

I used Ryan Dunn from Coast and Co Realty for the recent sale of my late father’s residence in Alameda. I had met Ryan in 2022, when we were not ready to sell his house, but I was impressed with his presentation skills, and his knowledge of the local real estate market. He and I kept in touch over the next four years until I was ready to list the house. The team at Coast and Co far exceeded my expectations. Ryan provided a level of service that I had not expected. My father’s house needed some refreshing prior to listing, and Ryan volunteered to provide quality contractors who could complete the work at a reasonable price. Since I live in southern California, I was not able to coordinate the contractors’ work, but Ryan eagerly agreed to do that on my behalf. He and I were in regular contact, and Ryan provided the oversight of the projects I had agreed to do. He also provided oversight on all the pre-sale inspections and preparation for listing the home. Ryan aggressively marketed the house on all social media, held several open houses at different times to attract potential buyers, and ensured the home was staged tastefully. Even in a market that has softened somewhat in recent months, we had the house under contract in 17 days, and the sale was completed less than two months from the original list date. I would highly recommend Ryan Dunn and Coast and Co Realty for anyone looking to buy or sell a residential property.
