I recently had the smoothest experience selling my mothers home using Shaun Alston and his team at Eagle Realty. There were several obstacles we faced in even getting the house ready for sale, but Shaun navigated these with ease and provided expert guidance and support the whole way through. Unfortunately, my mother passed away in the home that she hadnt maintained well over the last 10+ years she lived with her husband in their primary residence. My daughter and I lived out of state, creating even more of a challenge for all of us. Shaun took the lead on the sale of the house, ensuring the house was brought up to code and increasing its value through proper renovations while keeping the costs down. Once his vision was brought to life, the house appraised for $100k more than we originally expected! This is a real testament to his outstanding network of contractors and support staff that took care of everything from finding a new garage door opener to moving an inoperable vehicle to a storage unit they located for me. In addition to the free staging services that really brought the property to life, Shaun and the team were an undeniable help in removing loads of trash, ensuring the lawn was maintained, finding a service provider to repair the outdoor sprinkler system and because I lived out of town, he even installed a security system in the house since it was sitting empty. I cant say enough about how easy the process was and how much I appreciate the support Shaun and the Eagle Realty team provided me and my daughter. They truly care about their clients and go above and beyond what I would ever have imagined during such a difficult time. The most impressive thing about Shaun is that he took the time to get to know my mothers neighbors. I thought I was providing him insight into the neighborhood by updating him on conversations I had with the neighbors aEUR" turns out, he had already spoken to them, knew everyones name, where they lived and even provided me with information I didnt know! Writing this review took me a lot longer than expected, not because there was a lack of words, but rather so much to share about the life changing experience I had working with Shaun Alston (Eagle Realty) and Dave Bernatchy (Landmark Mortgage). If I could give them a 10 stars out of 5 stars, I would. As first time homebuyers, my fiancA(C) and I couldnt have asked for a better team. They were so patient with us, every step of the way. They stood out from the rest of those in their fields through open and consistent communication. I dont like guessing whats on peoples minds and I dont like getting the run around when I have questions. Never during the search for our home did I find myself feeling in the dark. When uncertainty presented itself, I felt Shauns support which made the biggest difference in this new chapter of our lives. He really did look out for our best interest. Finding our dream home was very bumpy. Several unfortunate events took place that were outside of our control. When we started this journey, we came across what a property we really liked, and guess what? We got it! We were beyond excited. However, then came great difficulties involving the HOA and the sellers agent that led to us cancelling the transaction. At that point, my fiancA(C) and I were devastated because we had already made payments towards that transaction. Shauns team worked diligently to get back our deposit and what we had invested on the inspections. It was an uphill battle, but in the end we got all our money back. When we were about to call it quits, Shaun somehow found us a beautiful place to call home. This new place was in a gorgeous gated community that felt like a nature park in the middle of the city. When my fiance and I first walked through the door, we were ready to call it home. Again, something came up. We ran into problems with the HOA because they had not sold a property to a potential buyer with a aEURoelow down payment conventional loanaEUR? in several years. We got concerned, and this time it hit us even harder. Thankfully, Dave worked miracles allowing us to buy the home. On top of that, Dave even got the entire subdivision approved for the type of loan we had! Incredibly, all this happened within our expected escrow period without any extensions or delays. I could never thank Shaun and Dave enough for the amazing team they are and the impeccable work theyre capable of. Whether you are a first time home buyer or just looking for a new place, I cannot recommend enough that you use Eagle Realty and Landmark Mortgage to make your dreams a reality.

I have worked with Shaun and his team for the past two decades! Shaun has helped me sell and purchase my last 4 homes. Each home that I have either sold or purchased, Shaun and his team of professionals have made the process so easy and stress free. He has always gotten me top dollar on my sales for the market we were currently in due to his expertise and his amazing staging service. And when it has come to finding us our amenities, location, school district etc when finding a home, he has always delivered and has really worked to get us in the house of our choice! I first met Shaun Alston of Eagle Realty in his previous role of General Contractor, when he helped me design and remodel my very first house in Fair Oaks. He also helped me with furniture selection and decorated it for me. Then he sold it for me 15 years later! I have worked with Shaun Alston on multiple property purchases and sales in the Sacramento area for over two decades. He knows the real estate market and has always gotten me the best prices. He is a skilled negotiator and is always prepared with data to justify the numbers. I was out of town in February 2026 when Shaun found the perfect property in Folsom. He had listened to what I wanted and found it. I flew in for the day to view the property and then left the purchase process to Shaun and his company. The purchase was contingent on the sale of another property. Shaun got that home appraised, inspected, beautifully staged and on the market in less than a week and had a full price offer within 24 hours. By having all the reports, the buyer had no qualms about offering full price. Shaun coordinated the appraisals, inspections, and repairs of both properties. He has contacts in these areas that allow him to get things done quickly. Shaun negotiated price concessions on the purchased property because of the condition of the pool and plumbing. After closing, he interviewed and recommended companies to do those repairs. The entire process, from first presentation to closing, took 1 month! This was the second time I sold a property with Shaun while I was out of town. Both times it was easy because he and his team take care of all the details. RedemptiveaEUR| Shaun Alston and his team is one of a kind. His services was always in the front line for us. Let just say he became us and put himself in our shoes. He protected us, he spoke for us and represented us. He went all out and he was on fire with us through our trials and tribulations. He put his expertise and reputations on the line but most of it all, he was compassionate. It started last year summer in 2024 purchasing a brand new home with a big lot that was complete with a multi generation home. We witnessed it being built from ground up. Then a new builder came in next to our future home. We looked at the model. Based on structure and size it was much bigger and benefited our needs for about the same price. So we made the decision to cancel on our current home to the new builder. Of course they were disappointed and told us that we will be charged a liquidated damage of about $38k It was hard on me and my wife. Giving away that much money was very emotional. You really dont play around with that kind of money. That builder wanted everything. The sales team and upper management didnt felt any remorse for us. It was pure business. So we seek for Shauns expertise and he told us not to worry and trust in his works through his experience. Shaun was flexible and gave us options and chose his recommendation because in the end we will be rewarded which was the right option. Shaun went to work and beyond!He protected us. He represented us, meaning that my wife and I never had to see those sales representatives from that builder again. He represented us from point of contact and reviewing all documentations. It was a sense of relief for us. He stood in the battle grounds. Honestly, we put him to work. We went ahead and purchased the original home. It felt like we werent part of the process. Knowing Shaun Alston has been a life-changing experience and I want to share my story. I met Shaun Alston over 2 decades ago when I was in high school. He helped my grandmother buy and sell two houses. I remember the stories she would tell me about how wonderful the experience was. I always told myself, if I ever buy a house, I wanted to use Shaun Alston. When I graduated from high school, I rented a for a couple of years. I hated it. I dont like paying other peoples mortgages and I was tired of my view of a parking lot. It was time to buy a house. I was really afraid of the unknown. When it came time to sell my rental property last year, I found out it was not left in the greatest condition. With Shaun?s years of extensive background in interior design and expert knowledge of real estate trends, he advised me on how to renovate and stage my rental in the most attractive way to earn top dollar. Shaun procured all of the contractors necessary to do the paint, counters, flooring, windows, etc. His staff made all the arrangements for contractors to provide me with bids and scheduled them to begin the work for me, so that I was not interrupted at my job. These are the kinds of things Shaun takes into consideration, and it made me feel like I was receiving a luxury service. Additionally, as I was beginning to close escrow on the sale of my rental, my husband put in an offer on a new rental for himself. If you?re looking for a realtor who really listens to you and explains things to you honestly, then Shaun is the best you can find. As a first time home buyer I couldn?t have asked for more. He let me know what to look for in a home beyond the esthetics. He found homes to look at that had what was on my must have list. The amazing thing is he did all of this from Northern California, and I?m in Southern California. I recommend using him whether you?re buying or selling a home. Landmark Mortgage, a sister company to Eagle Realty, processed my loan. I get very anxious when it comes to signing contracts that deal with finances. My loan officer, Dave, was fantastic. He explained everything to me in plain English and was very patient with me when I asked him to explain things to me again. I had no surprises from start to finish about how much I needed to pay, when I needed to pay it, and to whom. It made the process so much easier. I appreciated all he did for me.

I havent even started and have already run out of superlatives to describe Shaun Alstons proficiency in what he does best...WOW his customer by getting the best results possible and within budget!! Lets start with his experience. Shauns experience as a former general contractor equipped him to isolate flaws in the design of properties I was initially interested in; for example a property which looked fine aesthetically but design-wise created an unavoidable noise and potential odor problem that wasnt easily reconcilable unless the entire garage was relocated (not something most laypersons would pay much attention to until after-the-fact). Shauns experience as a skilled negotiator saved many anxious moments when the Purchase Contract hung in the balance due to foot dragging by third parties and unexpected and unforeseen delays. During these moments Shaun was able to negotiate time-sensitive extensions which prevented the deal from falling apart. Equally important, Shauns soft skills, including being honest, responsive, patient, humorous and understanding of what would work and what would not during negotiations, made me laugh at myself more than once! Shauns entire demeanor is one of firmness with levity and seriousness with laughter...you always felt he really cared i.e., it was about more than a payday at the end of the deal; it was about building a lasting business relationship. He was always available 24/7 (within reason) and endured my unending questions. Finally, Shauns leadership of his team was run like a well-oiled machine; he strategically placed team members to expedite services and everything was done on-time and without drama!
